Simply Delicious Bread Pudding


  1. 1 day old french Baguette (cut into small pieces) and place in a pan
  2. Set your oven to  350 F
  3. Melt 2 Tablespoons of butter and drizzle on bread
  4. Mix the following 
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup sugar 
  • pinch of salt and ground nutmeg (optional)

     5.  Pour mixture on the bread
     6.  Let it stand for 5-10 min
     7.  With back of a  large spoon press down on the bread to soak up the liquid
     8.  Bake for 40 min  or until the top is golden brown




You can add any nuts or dried fruit (ex. raisins, cranberries, apricots) 


If you are going to use fresh bread toasted lightly


You can also make half the amount by cutting every ingredient in half


I purchased the bread from Downtown Farmstand they sometimes have 1 day old bread for half the price!
